Lakeview Pet Care is a boutique cat sitting company serving Chicago since 2017.
We are a team of local, reliable, caring, animal lovers who work together to make sure our clients receive the best care. We are excited to meet your cat and help them feel safe and comfortable while you are away. We also work with other small animals when possible.
We offer in-home cat sitting, aiming to keep your cat's routine as close to possible as if you were home. Cats are creatures of habit, and most cats are happiest at home in their own environments. Visits are 20-30 minutes and include feeding, water refresh, litter scooping, brushing, playtime and any other necessary care. We are happy to water a few plants or bring in a small package, just ask. Many of our sitters are able to dispense medicine, insulin etc. with our Extra Care visits.
We are firm believers in the importance of feeding cats a good meat based diet, and that generally means wet food. Please check out our blog post to learn about how feeding wet food improves your cats health. We have many success stories of clients getting their cats off insulin by improving their diet. We use Fear Free strategies that will help your pet have a more relaxing enjoyable time and will reduce stress for all of us in the process. Every time we interact with a pet they are learning, so we are always training. Our goal is to make those interactions count for the better.
