Emily 
The Boss Lady 

Emily has four of the sweetest rescue cats around, Loki, Mia, Benjamin and Rainbow (can you find them on the website? follow their Instagram @rainbowcatschicago). She also  volunteers with the Cat Cade as a foster. Emily hates having unanswered emails, so you can expect quick communication and great updates while you're away. She has about 12,000 cat photos and counting on her phone. 

​Haley 

Haley has loved cats her whole life. As Lakeview Pet Care's first hire, she gets rave reviews from all her clients! She loves keeping her charges entertained and teaching them tricks. Haley is a photographer so don't be surprised to get stunning photos from her, check out our Instagram @lakeviewpetcare  for some of her work! ​ 

Leann

Leann has an orange tabby, Munster. She has been in the pet care business for over seven years. Nothing makes her happier then being able to work with animals everyday. She is able to give medication and special care if needed.

Aria

Aria has grown up with 4 cats, Spencer, Fred, Sally and Auggie, but has also helped foster from St. Sophia’s Forgotten Felines over the last 4 years. While fostering she’s learned to adapt to the unique personalities and individual needs of each cat. Whether it's feeding, grooming, or simply providing a cozy lap for snuggles, you can count on her! Aria currently lives in Lakeview, where she is a second year majoring in Public Health. 

Austin

Hi I'm Austin! I grew up with dogs and thought the phrase dogs rule and cats drool was so true but I couldn't be more wrong. I am now a very proud cat dad and cannot see myself any other way. I have one beautiful son (cat) named Samson and I can't go anywhere in the house without him following me. Now I'm that guy who introduces myself to the cats in a new home before the people. I'm very excited to take care of your cats and service the Wrigleyville neighborhood!

Donia

Donia became a cat person at the age of 14 when she received her first kitten as a Christmas present. She now lives with three cats, a dog, a chameleon and several hermit crabs. She can't wait to love and care for your cats, too.

Crystal

Crystal loves cats, so much so that she 'adopted' her building cats who were brought in to help with rodents in the basement. She had a beloved cat Batman that she lost recently, so she is ready to fill her kitty cuddle cup. Crystal has experience with medication.

Connie

Connie has lived in the Lakeview and Lincoln Park neighborhoods for over 40 years.  She fell in love with cats at age 9 when her mother brought two kittens home from her workplace. While Connie does not currently own a cat she is the proud Auntie and caretaker of her sister's three boys: Giovanni, Lorenzo and Sid.  Connie recently retired from full-time work and is looking forward to more time for herself and to share her new found freedom with your cats.  Connie's schedule is very flexible and she is available on short notice. 

Deb

Deb is a lifelong animal lover who resides in the Edgewater neighborhood. She can't remember a time growing up when the house wasn't filled with cats and dogs. That love for animals continued to grow and over the years and Deb has loved many more cats and dogs of her own. She has used pet services in the past for her vacations and understands the unique situations each animal faces when its owners are gone. She looks forward to bringing your pet the comfort, enjoyment, and care you expect. Get ready for tons of updates, pictures, and kitty love! While Deb doesn't currently have any fur babies, she is looking forward to getting her cat fix while caring for yours! 

Eva

Eva’s love of animals began in childhood when she was fortunate enough to grow up with both a toughie cat (Memo) and a pug dog (Dodger). She found her first cat in a barn while visiting a relative’s farm, and it was love at first sight! Ever since then she has felt a special connection with animals and loves opportunities to nurture and take care of them. Eva loves to cuddle and play with her regal and endearing lap cat, Cheadle, who has been with her for over six years now. She is looking forward to meeting and looking after the wonderful cats with Lakeview Pet Care!

Clare

Clare has been an animal lover since she was a kid. Her passion for animals started when visiting her local zoo, and ended in getting a Master’s in Primate Conservation in the UK. Clare enjoys spending time with her two cats Nyani and Steve. She is excited to join Lakeview Pet Care, where she hopes to provide enriching visits to her cat clients. Clare has some experience with oral medication administration. 

Breyon

Breyon Brown is a cat lady at heart! She has 6+ years of experience in pet care and is a wonderful pet parent to 2 kitties of her own.  She has always been a lover of all animals but loves cats the most. Breyon works as a Special Education teacher at a creative arts school and is passionate about social emotional learning and social justice. Breyon is very kind and caring to people and their feline friends. She is looking forward to making some new cat friends. 

Linda 

Linda has been an animal lover her entire life. She currently shares her home in Portage Park with 3 cats - Big Lou, Jack and Rosie. She has been a volunteer at Red Door Animal Shelter for over 20 years, often adopting the cats who are overlooked. She’s always had a soft spot for elderly and shy cats and will do her best to make friends with them. Linda is looking forward to making friends with your cats!

Rachel

Rachel has loved animals her whole life and is the proud cat mom (and social media manager) of Smokey, a large fluffy grey cat. She recently adopted a female orange tabby to grow the cat family. When not caring for cats, Rachel works as a population biologist at Lincoln Park Zoo. Rachel is excited to meet and befriend the great cats of Chicago! 

Elyssa

Elyssa grew up with and loves critters of all kinds, but has a special place in her heart for kitties. She is cat mom to a giant white fluff ball, appropriately named Puff. When not giving scruffs and cuddling cats, Elyssa works as a licensed clinical social worker in a school on the Southside of the city. Elyssa would much rather hang out with cats than humans, so she is looking forward to meeting your fur babes and treating them like the princes/princesses they are!

Melissa has always had a love and appreciation for animals, especially cats! She’s the proud cat mom to her two babies, Lilah & Tofu. Melissa has been volunteering as a cat caretaker with local animal rescues for over 7 years and especially loves bonding with shy & senior kitties. She can’t wait to meet you & your cats, and make some new furry friends! 

Elizabeth

My name is Elizabeth and I’ve been a huge animal lover my whole life. I have 5+ years of cat-sitting experience and have cared for over 200 cats. I also have two wonderfully sassy kitties of my own (Mia and Dawn). My cat-sitting career first started when I was in high school and I would watch the neighbors’ cats when they went on vacation. Since then, I have done cat-sitting through some of the popular pet care apps, but always hated how they were more geared towards dogs. I love cats because they all have unique personalities and you often have to really work to earn their trust - but when you do, it’s so rewarding!

Heather

Heather has always had a special connection with cats and dogs. She lives with 3 cats, one of whom she is fostering. Her friends describe her as compassionate, attentive, and gentle toward animals of all kinds. You can rest assured your cats will be in good hands and given the same care and attention she gives her own. 

Ryan

Ryan is an avid animal lover, especially with a love for cats. Currently he has a golden doodle named Laney and knows the joy of having a furry friend. He is open to sharing more of his love through spending time with and caring for your feline companions, so that they still feel loved in your absence.

Christine

Christine adopted her 1st rescue cat, Tiger, at age 8. She has loved cats & kittens and has had them as her roommates ever since (over 30 years!). She has fostered rescue cats and newborn kittens and has participated in community Trap-Neuter-Return. Her favorite foster has been Sammi, a "foster fail" who came from the city streets, to stay with Christine forever. Her favorite retail cat toy is the "Cat Dancer" and her favorite Olympic sport is napping with cats.

Ameerah

Hi! I am a Ameerah and I am a proud cat lady! I have had cats for most of my life. I currently have Finn,  a Creamsicle Ginger in his senior years. I am also a freelance writer, editor, and content creator. Being around cats brings me joy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time. I also have an embarrassing number of cat videos saved on my phone.

Kayla

Kayla is excited to join Lakeview Petcare as a new sitter! A lifelong animal lover, Kayla has had the joy of living the past year and a half with a lovely cat called Olive, who she often watches. Although she doesn’t have any pets of her own, she is planning on adopting once she moves to a new home. In her free time, Kayla enjoys playing soccer and exploring new neighborhoods in the city.

Kat

Kat Lives in the Ravenswood area with her partner and has loved animals of all kinds since early childhood. She was raised in a house with many  curious, independent and snuggly cats, a wonderful dog, guinea pigs, and a gecko. These days about 85% of her phone reel consists of her sisters' two beautiful long hair calico babies Jones and SJ. She is a  gentle, patient, highly communicative person who is excited to provide your cat(s) with the most attentive care and love while you are away.

Taylor M

Taylor is a lifelong cat person and grew up with two Siamese kitties, Buzz & Woody. She is an animal lover and experienced pet sitter, and is excited to take care of your cats! She’s happy to join Lakeview Pet Care serving Bucktown, Logan Square and Wicker Park.

Hana

Hana grew up a total dog person, but that all changed in 2020 when she adopted her two kitties: Cleo, a curious calico, and Mia, an affectionate tortoiseshell. Now a devoted cat mom, Hana is looking forward to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for your cat(s). One of her biggest hobbies is photography, so she’ll be sure to snap lots of cute pics of your fur baby for you!

Megan

Megan grew up with dogs but once she got her beloved tabby, aptly named Kitty, about 15 years ago she's been on team cat ever since! Megan has experience cat sitting for multiple cats as well as providing medication to our furry friends.  Her day job is in the software industry but she loves cat sitting to take a break from the computer and get some one-on-one cat cuddles.  Megan looks forward to caring for your cats as if they were her own.

Alejandro

Howdie, my name is Alejandro and I have always loved animals! As a child I was obsessed with little rodents and had a pet hamster, as I moved into college though I grew to love cats. Rescued two of my own that kept me company throughout and ever since I have been excited whenever I visit people’s homes and I get to meet their cat. I now live in Lakeview with my partner and our two cats.  I’m a mechanical engineer by trade, I enjoy doing creative hobbies such as drawing and video game making. Please let me meet your furry baby!

Jordan

Jordan is excited to join Lakeview Pet Care! As a lifelong cat lover, she was the go-to cat sitter amongst her friends in Los Angeles for nearly a decade, where she always received compliments on her great photos of everyone’s fur babies. Having recently relocated to Chicago, she now lives in the Lakeview/Wrigleyville area with her partner and two sweet kitties, Betty and Judy. When she’s not cuddling cats, Jordan can often be found baking, crafting, and reading fantasy novels.

Caroline

If there is a cat at the party, you can be sure that Caroline will find it. Caroline prefers to be surrounded by animals as much as possible and is always in search of new cat friends! She grew up with both cats and dogs and in 2022, adopted a bonded sibling pair, Alfie and Rosie, who she can’t imagine life without. Over the years, Caroline has cat sit or live with cats of all ages and personalities, from newborn kittens to senior cats. Most of Caroline’s camera roll is made up of cat photos, so you can be sure to receive lots of pictures and detailed reports of your cats. Caroline is a PhD student at Northwestern and lives in Edgewater.

Khloe

Khloe is an artist, yoga instructor and pet lover with over 6 years of pet sitting experience. She currently has a 3 year old Bengal cat and a 1 year old tabby cat so she knows everything that goes into making our furry friends safe and happy!

Margot

Margot has had cats her entire life and is currently a cat mom of 7! Boo, Frank (aka Fwank), Louie, Rorie Gilmore, Johnnie, Abbie and Pennie. She volunteers and fosters through The Catcade in Lakeview, but has a history of adopting all of her fosters so she thought cat sitting would be a great way to pet all the cats and keep them in your home. She is an Esthetician in Edgewater, currently lives in West Ridge and has lived in the area for the last 15 years. She has a special place in her heart for any cat that needs a little extra time, love and tenderness and is looking forward to meeting all the cats in Chicago very soon. 

Michael

Mike is a lifelong cat guy whose earliest childhood memories include the family cat - Thomas.  I've had a couple of other cats since - Cookie and Bonzai and although I don't currently have a cat of my own, I enjoy taking care of my roommate's cats (the cat in the picture Dinah) and volunteering when I have time.  I am patient, observant, compassionate, and respectful of your space and your furry friends. I understand that a pet is not just a pet, but a member of your family and I am here to help make any time away from your family a stress-free experience.​

Sarah

I am thrilled to be a part of the Lakeview Pet Care team! My friends describe me as an outgoing cat enthusiast and a proud cat mom of a bonded sibling pair, Nala and Phillip! Growing up with cats and volunteering at local animal shelters such as PAWS has always been a passion of mine. I now call Old Town my home, but I am originally from Michigan and enjoy doing anything outdoors such as camping, sailing, and live music events. In addition to cat sitting, I am also an experienced Corporate Event Planner and Content Events professional. I look forward to watching your fur babies and am very excited to be a part of such a compassionate, responsible team!

Daija

Daija has always been connected with cats since she was little. She has two cats of her own back home in Memphis. She is excited to care for other cats while being separated from her own. When she's not busy cat-sitting, you'll find her biking, reading or making photographs. ​

Petra

Petra has experience working in a local cat shelter, assisting with TNR projects, and has become a personal cat-guru amongst friends. Having taken care of cats of every age and every level of craziness, Petra is ready to help you care for your fuzzy friends!

Sam

Sam has had just about any animal you can think of cross through their home from salamanders to chinchillas! Despite all of these pets to consider, they consider themself to be a cat person at heart. Sam loves to work with all cats’ many personalities and enjoys making new friends- shy or spastic! They have their own cat at home, Rose, who is a fan-favorite amongst friends for being sweet and a little bit “perfectly cat-shaped”. Sam has grown up being a resource for friends and family to look after pets old and young, administer medicine, and to help identify signs of anxiety or discomfort in cats. Schedules are critical, and the anxiety of an owner out of the home can be a shock. Sam hopes to alleviate yours and your cat’s worries with clear communication, lots of fancy pictures and a caring approach.

Emily D

Emily is an experienced pet sitter and a longtime cat lover, always prepared with respect and care for your unique furry friend. On a rainy day, Emily can be found curled up with their spoiled cat Dill, and a good book.

April

Hi, I am April! Eighteen years ago,  I adopted  my first kitten named Chloe (who is still doing well today) and I have officially been a cat mom since!   In addition to Chloe, I have Delaney and Ginsburg, both of whom add so much joy, tranquility and silliness in my life! I work in social work, but working with animals helps me maintain a good work/life balance. I feel very honored to spend time with your feline loved ones!

Sarah L

Based in the North Park neighborhood, Sarah has a love for all animals—especially cats! She is a cat mom to two feisty orange tabby rescue cats, Aby and Pumpkin. Sarah is experienced in canine and feline care, and she can’t wait to get to know your cat’s unique personality and to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you are away. When she isn’t caring for cats, Sarah works as a Program Assistant at Northwestern University. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, reading, and enjoying Chicago’s dynamic culture. Sarah has had so many positive experiences entrusting her own cats to Lakeview Pet Care that she has decided to join the team! Sarah looks forward to providing a purrfect experience for your cat soon! 

Kim

Kim has been an animal lover and caregiver since a very young age. They love all animals and cats are at the top of the list. During their free time they are cuddling their bun and caring for their rescued frog, goldfish and lizard. No animal is too small, strange or unlovable for Kim! They look forward to meeting all the different personalities that come with each individual cat. Making sure your cat feels cared for while their family is away is very important to Kim and keeping you updated so you can feel assured your cat is in good hands.

Veronica

Victoria has lived with cats since she was born. She received allergy shots for seven years because she couldn't stand to live a life without them! Her current living situation doesn't allow her to have a fur baby of her own, so she very much looks forward to giving all her love to yours.

Teresa 

Teresa is an animal lover, her love of cats came when she moved into her first condo and adopted 2 cats, Starsky and Hutch. She has owned 3 cats since then. Recently she became a volunteer for Feline Friends fostering and had her first foster fail and adopted Merrill, a two year-old cat. Teresa is excited to be working for Lakeview Pet Care and looking forward to taking care of your cats.

Teddy

Teddy has loved caring for cats for as long as he can remember. While growing up, he lived with and cared for four family cats. In 2020, he became a foster fail and adopted a 2-year-old cat named Stinky. When he’s not spending time with Stinky, he is working towards his Masters at DePaul University, playing piano, or trying to find the best pizza in Chicago. Teddy is reliable and diligent and will do his best to make sure your cat feels comfortable and safe while you are away.

Jamie

Jamie is a lifelong animal lover with a strong affinity for cats. She is fortunate enough to have lived with up to 5 cats at one time. She has a particular soft spot for special needs pets and currently lives with 3 neurologically impaired cats. Through her experience with her own special needs and senior cats, Jamie has gained exposure to giving medications, administering subcutaneous fluids, palpating/expressing bladders, and observing cat behavior for signs of illness. When she is not occupied as a servant to her cats, Jamie works as a physical therapist and enjoys traveling, good movies/TV and spending time outdoors. She looks forward to providing your cats and home with the attention that they deserve so that you can go out of town without worry.

Kyioe

Kiyoe is a passionate and experienced cat caretaker with a special fondness for senior cats. She currently lives with an 18-year old Manx named Bruzzelo, and previously lived with a 14-year old Burmese named MaeJae. She loves cat sitting and getting to know each cat's individual quirks. She can administer medicines when needed and is happy to accommodate special care instructions. Knowing how stressful it can be to leave your beloved pet behind when you're out of town, Kiyoe always strives to make the experience great for both you and your cat! 

Cullyn

Hey, I'm Cullyn and I'm so excited to be with Lakeview Pet Care! I've always been a cat person and love them to pieces. I grew up with two cats, Nickel and Smudge, in my home state of Pennsylvania and adopted my current cat, Samson, in 2019. I've only ever had cats, so I'm well versed in their nonverbal communication, plays, and slow blinks. I'm looking forward to caring for your little ones as if they were my own! 

Samantha

I have always been a huge animal lover and became particularly obsessed with cats when I rescued my two fur babies, Pumpernickel and Winnie. Anyone who says they don't like cats has clearly never had one. Cats are spunky, affectionate, and unpredictable, and that's why I love them. 
I have a lot of experience working with both cats and dogs. I regularly pet sit for my friends and have volunteered at various organizations fostering animals in need. I have experience working with "difficult" cats and cats of all age ranges, breeds, and genders. 

Hannah

Hannah recently moved to Chicago with her 17 year old kitty, Merchant, who Hannah has had since she was six. Merchant can, at times, be a sassy and finicky kitty, so Hannah is always very patient and understanding of others’ pets. She has been petsitting for friends and family for many years. She has experience giving medication to both cats and dogs in the form of pills, topical treatments, insulin, etc.

She has missed getting to see her regular pet clients since the move and is thrilled to get to know and care for your Chicago cats!

Liza

Liza lives in the Ravenswood/Lincoln Square neighborhood and has a lifetime of experience caring for cats. She has been a devoted mom to cats from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and circumstances, chill or sassy, healthy or sick. Her understanding of the often cryptic language of felines and attention to detail are just some of the qualities that make her a perfect caretaker. She gives all of herself to fully engaging with your cats and making sure they are safe, happy, and look forward to her visits. Liza makes every cat in her care her priority, and you can look forward to regular updates and photos of your pets!

Bailey

Bailey is excited to meet your cats! As a cat care technician and a cat mom herself, rest assured your feline friends are in good hands. When not with cats Bailey loves bike riding, listening to Taylor Swift, and hanging out with human friends and family.

Annalisa

Annalisa was born in Chicago and grew up in Evanston. She moved back to Chicago in 2020 and has been cat-sitting in the Chicago area since 2021! When she is not cat-sitting, reading, or practicing yoga, Annalisa works at a university to help university faculty and staff with their employee benefits. Annalisa lives with a hyper, friendly, and fun Chantilly kitty named Kimiko (“Kimi”). Annalisa grew up with two cats, Missy and Hazel, and has always been a “cat-person” (sorry dogs!). She respects how each cat she meets would like to be treated (“don’t want to play today? Okay, you call the shots here!”) and is happy to play fetch, wand-toy adventures, or just sit back and talk with your fur baby.

Hannah Mary

Hannah is a lifelong animal lover, and she has had cats ever since she was three years old. She started cat sitting for friends and acquaintances in 2021, and it’s always a treat to hang out with her new feline buddies! She has a beautiful and opinionated cat named Thisbe, who is the head of their household (Hannah just pays the rent). In addition to cuddling cats and telling them how purrfect they are, Hannah is an actor, singer, improviser, and Shakespeare coach. She can’t wait to care for your cat!

Emily S

Hi! My name is Emily, and I’m excited to be part of Lakeview Pet Care. I grew up with cats and am now the proud mom of two rescues- Stevie, a gray tuxedo, and Fritz, an orange tabby. I’m an experienced pet sitter and have experience watching multiple cats, administering medicine, gaining the trust of timid cats, and keeping ‘high energy’ cats entertained. I’m excited to get to know your cats. I’ll be sure to provide them with snuggles and play time and provide you with pictures and updates! 

Renee

Renee had dogs her whole life growing up but it wasn't until she found her oldest cat when he was a kitten a few years ago that she was immediately converted to a cat person. She currently has two cats, Toots and Goose and they fill her life with so much light! In addition to the care of her own two cats, she has extensive experience volunteering at various animal shelters throughout her time in school. She can't wait to meet you and your furry friends!

Ashley Grace

Hi, my name is Ashley Grace, and I am so excited to meet your furry friends! Growing up on a farm in Nebraska, I can't remember a time that I wasn't surrounded by cats, so I have experience with all sorts of cat personalities. I love taking the time to get to know how each cat likes to play and interact with the world. I now live in Lakeview East with my two boys, Natty and Goose, and am working on my PhD at Loyola. 

Alexis

Ever since I was little I have owned and adored cats! Currently, I have two Ragdoll cats of my own named Nala and Shaundar and we live in Lincoln Park. Shaundar has been in my life since I was 9 years old and he is such a little bundle of joy, while young Nala is curious and snuggly. In addition to my love for cats, I enjoy dancing, traveling, and baking! I know how important our pets are to each one of us and my goal is to treat them with all the tender loving care they deserve, while providing you with ease while their parents (YOU!) are away with pictures and many updates! I am so honored and excited to care for your fur babies!!

Aubrey

Aubrey has been a pet lover ever since she adopted her first cat Sparkle at the age of 6. With over 15 years of pet care experience, she is looking forward to taking care of your sweet babies as if they were her own. When she’s not cuddling and obsessing over her own cat (daughter) Kiko, you can find her working as a dueling pianist/drummer/bassist in downtown Chicago. 

Mia

Mia is a cat lover who resides in Ravenswood. She had always had her own dogs growing up, but when she started pet sitting she became a cat lover, too. Mia loves caring for cats of all personality types, but she especially loves the kitties who are extra chatty. Since she doesn’t yet have a cat of her own, she loves getting cuddles and playtime by caring for your kitties. Mia has experience with medication. She is so excited to start with Lakeview Pet Care!

Leah

Hi, my name is Leah! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life. I grew up around dogs, cats, horses, Guinea pigs you name it! I’ve lived in Lincoln Park/Lakeview for the last 10 years. I’ve recently become cat obsessed and have two cat boys at home, Atticus and Algernon. 
In my spare time I enjoy coffee shop hopping, dog walking (shhh…don’t tell my cats), watching documentaries and running. I can’t wait to meet your cats! 

Sara K

Sara has loved cats for as long as she can remember! She began pet sitting for friends and neighbors when she was in high school and understands the importance of giving cats extra love and attention while their owner is away. While Sara doesn’t currently have any feline friends of her own, she is looking forward to taking care of yours!

Bonnie

Bonnie has been a cat lover her whole life. She didn’t have any as a kid because of her mom’s allergies (eye roll) but now has 3 personals (Fred, Sally & Augie) and a revolving door of foster babies! (Usually a dozen or more at a time and nearly 200 since starting). Bonnie also does a ton of TNR work and is heavily involved at the cat shelter she fosters for, so she has seen (and handled) it all when it comes to behavioral and medical needs. Bonnie lives in Lakeview but will happily travel to get a cat fix as cats are 100% her happy place!

Katie

Katie has loved and raised cats and dogs for over 30 years.  She currently has 2 cats: Johnny and Louie who are super chill, love dogs and keep her entertained.  She has experience giving medications as well. She is also an avid photographer and loves getting great shots of animals in general.

Elizabeth M

Despite growing up with dogs, Elizabeth has always felt a profound affinity for cats. This connection has grown through the years, as she has had the distinct honor of developing relationships with and providing care for cats of all ages with all kinds of interests and dispositions. She loves spending time with cats and understands that each cat is unique and requires personalized attention and care. She currently resides in Logan Square and is pursuing a master's degree in urban planning.

Corinne

Corinne is a lifelong lover of cats, from having cats her whole life, to now being an active volunteer and cat foster mom at both Evanston Animal Shelter and PAWS Chicago.  She has so much love for each and every cat she meets, and adores them as if they are all her own!  Corinne loves taking pictures of cats, with about 4,000 cat photos on her phone, you might call her obsessed, but she’s just dedicated to getting the perfect shot, and will put that dedication into sending you pictures of your furry friend while you’re away. She can’t wait to meet your cats and spread her love to the cats of Chicago!

Hi there, I’m Martina! I live in the Albany Park neighborhood. I am very excited to join Lakeview Pet Care. I love all animals, but cats hold a special place in my heart. I’ve experienced the joy of sharing a past life with three rescue cats. I absolutely love the unique personality every cat has. Once my children came into my life, my hopes of having more cats in my house were sadly dashed. This is 100% why caring for your fur-babies will be such a fulfilling opportunity for me. I am a high school Special Education teacher who has a fairly stressful job during the school year. I look at spending quality time with cats as much needed therapy!  I am very much looking forward to hanging out with your cats and making them feel very loved! I promise to take extra care, send you updates and pictures, and be a proactive communicator!

Jenni has owned and loved cats all her life, and currently lives in Pilsen with four of them - Hugo, Piecrust, Schnitzel and Nina. A former touring wardrobe supervisor, she gave up her glamorous career of traveling the world doing dancers' laundry to spend more time scooping litterboxes, handing out treats, and making up songs about her cats. When not home, at work or visiting her favorite place - the CatCade - Jenni makes clay sculptures of her favorite felines at Gnarware Studios. Favorite household kitty toys include the catnip kicker and any kind of tinsel ball.

Donna

Hi, I’m Donna and am thrilled to now be part of this compassionate team, after starting as a client for our Lily. I’ve had pets my entire adult life, including 2 dogs and a cat and then 3 cats at once, talk about cuddles and play times! My career was 20 years as a Pre-School teacher, of which now I have retired. My hobbies are yoga, hiking, cooking and plants. I’m excited to be engaging and caring for your cats while you’re away, assuring everyone is enjoying life. My love for animals is enormous and have been Vegan for over 15 years. In my volunteer group, we’ve even visited and petted pigs! No worries that I will do everything possible to help you and your cats feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. Communication is key in life, so be ready for those fun photos and updates!

Dominic

Dominic has never met a cat he didn’t like. He’s been lucky enough to grow up with these wonderful creatures. Minnie, Rocky, Sunny, and Beaurigard were all feline members of his family at one point or another – and sources of joy at all times. Dom is an actor, a writer, and a standardized patient. He is also a Catcade patron, a pet sitter, and is now privileged to be in a position to care for them via Lakeview Pet Care.

Hi my name is Sara and I’m a huge animal lover but I have a special place in my heart for cats.  I worked with cats professionally through rescue and clinical settings for over 9 years which has helped me gain valuable knowledge of our feline friends.   I also have a large cat family at home ranging from seniors to special needs.  I know from personal experience that going on vacation can be stressful because you will worry about your cats back home but you can rest assured I will keep your fur family entertained and comforted until you return home.

Jo Chalhoub (They/Them) was once a “Dogs rule, Cats drool” type of person until they brought their first cat into their home over a decade ago.  As a lifelong animal lover and seasoned pet caregiver, Jo is dedicated to learning all of the ins and outs of each individual pet family and truly enjoys the unique joys and challenges of caring for our furry friends.  When they’re not hanging at home in Rogers Park with their beautiful cat friends Beignet (4 year old tabby) and Lagniappe (3 year old American shorthair), you can find them working in social services or within the theater industry around the Chicago area.  They can’t wait to meet you and your furry loved ones!

Hi there! My name is Natasha and I live in East Lakeview with my black kitty Sam and I am so excited to give love to other kitties as a part of the Lakeview Pet Care community. I loved growing up in a house filled with animals and I love being able to provide comfort in taking care of others animals while they are away. I love to play and cuddle but also provide what ever your cat may need as we know all cats are different!

With me, your cats will receive the same love and affection they're used to, making sure they're happy and well taken care of. Finley

Finley “Finn” Liebman is an avid cat lover, and currently resides with his rambunctious 3 year old gray tabby, Minnow. Finn takes pride in his compassionate approach to pet care, and does his best to ensure a safe, nurturing environment of friends all around the animal kingdom. Growing up, he was surrounded by lizards, birds, and of course, cats! One of his favorite memories as a child was taking in a stray who would frequent his back porch- he would later be named ‘Romeo’, and become one of Finn’s most endearing companions. Finley has pet sat for both family and friends, leaving artistic notes behind after each visit as a personal touch. He currently resides in Rogers Park.

I was a cat mom for 13 years and lost my last girl this past May.  I have a particularly soft spot for cats, but I am a lover of all animals. I care for every cat that I am responsible for as if they were my own, and understand how hard it can be to leave your companion animals when you leave for any amount of time.

My cat, Tuna Melt, is my pride and joy, and a foster-win (I fostered her for The CatCade, and by time she was healthy and ready to go - I just couldn't imagine my life without her in it)! Speaking of the CatCade - It's my happy place! When not cuddling with Tuna Melt, or petting cats at The Cade, I enjoy painting and being creative, shopping the 'special' aisle at Aldi, and soaking up some sunshine in nature. Hi! My name is Kaira and I am so excited to be part of this team! I have been a cat person since I was little and still am! I grew up with three cats along with many other animals (dogs, birds, hamsters, frogs, rats, mice). I currently have two cats of my own. Their names are Rain, a tortoiseshell with an attitude, and Coral, the baby who needs all of the attention. In my free time, I love to read, and enjoy a good thriller. I journal, color, and give lots of attention to my cats. I have always been a reliable choice for my friends whenever they needed a cat sitter. Hi! My name is Allison, and i’ve always been a pet lover! I live with one cat named Jax in my lakeview apartment, but in Milwaukee where I grew up, my moms house is like a zoo! 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 birds, and a bearded dragon! I have 5 years of pet sitting experience, and I’m so excited to join Lakview Petcare! My day job is nannying and i’m also in esthetician school! I’m looking forward to taking care of your cats!

Deborah

Deborah recently moved to Chicago from New York City and is excited to see what the city has to offer. She grew up with many cats in the household and loved them so much; she’s a converted cat person for life. Missing her home cats and unable to currently adopt her own, she is willing to travel far to go take care and play with some. When not taking care of your pets, you can find her at the reading by the water or at your local climbing gym.

Sasha comes to us from the crazy world of Commercials. She understands that sometimes to have a good work/life balance we need that extra cuddle buddy to get us through. With two of her own witchy cats, Pyewacket & Sybil, she's enjoyed fostering an environment of warmth, curiosity, and play. Growing up with many animals in the household has led to a deep fondness and kinship with felines in particular. So cat-sitting for friends and family naturally occurred as well. She's excited to meet and foster new relationships with you and your cat/kittens!

Stephanie has always had a love and appreciation for cats! She and her husband have a cat named Lila.  Stephanie volunteers weekly at The Catcade and loves getting to know all the cats and kittens before they go to their forever homes. She isn’t afraid to clean up a mess and has experience with oral and topical medications. She can’t wait to meet you and your cats!

Hi I’m Ava! I have two rescue kitties, Yoshi and Bella, who are the two lights of my life. When I’m not working towards my esthetician license, I love cuddling up with my kitties and a good book on the couch.  Don’t tell Yoshi or Bella, but I think every cat I meet is the cutest cat in the world. I can’t wait to meet yours!

Hi! I'm Sasha and I love cats! This is me and my cat, Mr. Man. I have loved cats all my life since I was a kid, and have always enjoyed caring for my friends' and families' cats, however he is my first cat as an adult. He's 13, meows a lot, loves pets, treats, and automated mice. I'm excited to join the Lakeview Pet Care team, and hope to give you peace of mind while away from your furry friends and family members.

Lauren has been around cats her entire life. She shares her home with five indoor cats — Charlotte, Matilda, Francine, Edith, and Gus, as well as an outdoor colony of seven feral cats. She has several years of experience volunteering in cat rescue and is currently fostering cats and kittens. She can’t wait to meet your furry friends and provide them with the best possible care! 

Kailyn

Kailyn has been a cat lover for her entire life. Originally from St. Louis, MO, she moved to Chicago for college and never looked back. Currently has an adorable 3 year old cat named Nala and loves meeting new cats. In her free time she enjoys exercising, seeing live music, and exploring Chicago neighborhoods. She is excited to give your feline friends the love and care they deserve while you're away! 

Heidi

Heidi is a lifelong animal lover who has shared her heart and home with cats of all stripes (literally!) over the years. She currently lives in the Near North neighborhood with an opinionated tabby named Ziggy Stardust. She is also a volunteer cat matchmaker at Chicago's Anti-Cruelty Society, holds a Fear-Free Shelter Program certification, and has worked as a part-time cat sitter and dog walker since 2022. She has experience administering oral meds and using cat inhalers. Heidi is a firm believer in approaching each kitty as the unique individual they are, knowing and respecting their routine, and reading their body language and cues in order to adjust care based on their needs. For some cats, that means lots of playtime with interactive toys like a cat dancer. For others, it's all about face pets, or simply calm companionship, or just providing ample time and space while they acclimate to someone new. It's up to them! That's what makes gaining a cat's trust so special. When Heidi isn't hanging out with cats, she's working as a freelance writer/editor. She looks forward to spending quality time with the kitty in your life and communicating effectively so that you always know what's going on with them while you're away!

Hi I’m Kimberly! I have a passion for animals and have always been surrounded by them. I have grown up with my dog Chloe for eleven years, and now that I have two lovely cats, Rosie and Merlin, who I adore wholeheartedly, I can't wait to spend a long time with them, too. Their personalities and quirks amaze me, and I can’t wait to meet yours too! I love birding so we will be getting along just well!

Erin

Erin’s love of cats began a few years ago when her brother adopted a bonded pair. Now that she has cats of her own, she has become quite attuned to (and charmed by) the quirks and characteristics of our feline friends. In her free time she can typically be found at home with her orange boys, Mango & Kiwi.

Heather O

Hello my name is Heather O. (she/her) and I live in Edgewater. I have loved animals, especially cats, from an early age. I was a key guardian to Tiger and Morris ranging from an early age until I went to college along with growing up with dogs and also a rabbit. I’ve also volunteered at a wildlife rehab center and cat shelters. I was a cat mom for over 17 years for Simba and Timothy (including giving them medical treatments and Reiki). I’ve cat sat for many people, especially when I was living in another community where I wasn’t able to have cats of my own in my apartment.  Many of those cats have also become good friends – along with their guardians. I’m excited to take care of your cat/s and possibly become a friend to them, though also understanding that some may be very timid and low-key while also letting them know I’m there to care for them until you return home. I am an artist and arts administrator and I love spending time along the lake, including meditation time.  

Ashley K

I am Ashley, I have been teaching infants to 3 year olds for 8 years (since 2017). Alongside, I have taken care of many classroom pets and pets of children in my class when going on vacation. I have a dog named Watto, when I am not working, we are enjoying the city together, by running 5ks and getting pup cups! With Watto, I have 7 aquatic frogs that all my classes have named. I have only gone 6 hours my whole life without owning a pet! One fun fact about me is that in the state of Florida I am certified to help catch pythons.

Hi, I’m Jessica, and I’m excited to join the Lakeview Pet Care team! As a passionate animal lover who grew up surrounded by pets, I’ve always had a deep connection with animals. I currently volunteer at PAWS, a local animal shelter, where my daily responsibilities not only include assisting with animal care, but also facilitating adoptions.

​Four years ago, I rescued a 14-year-old barn cat named Lionel, who was battling heart-worm. Caring for Lionel taught me the importance of providing extra love and attention to the animals that need it the most. When you trust me with your cat, I make it my mission to ensure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I’ll keep you regularly updated, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your feline friend is in good hands.

My name is Davey, I am a hairstylist living in the Edgewater neighborhood with my partner and twin black cats named, Elvira & Merlin. 

I grew up in the country of Michigan having a petting zoo of animals consisting of rodents, reptiles, fish, cats, and dogs. I would also help out on my friends farms so I could hang out with the livestock. I love animals but these days I am perfectly content being a cat dad and look forward to meeting and taking care of your fur babies. You can never have enough cat lovin’.

When I’m not hanging out with my family you can find me outside by the lake or hunting down a good book from the free libraries. You can also find me in the kitchen baking up something sweet to eat.

Margie

I have Loved cats my whole life. I've had the privilege of volunteering at Tree house humane society as an adoption counselor I have also worked in a clinic setting helping sick cats recover. I'm ready to provide safe, loving care with lots of snuggles :) 

Eli

Eli has been raised with animals her whole life. Cats, Dogs, Bunnies, Chickens etc. She feels we are very privileged and lucky to have animals in our lives. Currently, She has 3 cats with her Partner David. Tara is the Eldest, she is the BOSS, at 15 years. She has had her since she was 3 months old. Babou or Booboo, the baby kitty, who is the tiniest one but the sassiest, is around 5 years old. And lastly, BigBoi, CryBeBe, her newest street cat. "Adopted him last year after he wouldn't stop crying outside, everyday, all day!! He has become my newest favorite, although I tell them all that separately, ha ha!!" Her and her Husband watch dogs, in their home, for their own clients throughout the year as well. Animals bring her Joy more than most things in life. But she spends the rest of her days making clothing, sewing, making art, and doing activities outside as much as possible!. She can't wait to add new cuddles and belly kisses, when allowed, to her day! You can count on her to be detail oriented and pay attention to your babies and give them lots of love. She is also super engaged in taking photos of cute or interesting things she sees throughout her day so you can be sure you will see photos of your sweet bebes too!
